Kim's statements came after Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi expressed during her recent visit to Washington her intention to hold a summit with the leader of the DPRK. IP “This is not the summit that Japan desires or has decided. If the Prime Minister of Japan seeks to resolve her unilateral issue, which we do not recognize, our government will have no intention of meeting or sitting down to dialogue with her,” she added.
