During her visit to Moscow on Friday, North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui confirmed that her country intends to continue strengthening its nuclear arsenal.
In a meeting with her Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, Choe Son Hui stated: "We must use all means to strengthen our defense, including nuclear weapons." She also noted that the issue of nuclear safety remains a priority for Pyongyang.
It is noted that negotiations between the US and North Korea on the nuclear program have been stalled in recent years. Positions of the parties on this issue have not changed so far, and North Korean officials make similar statements, reiterating their intention to continue developing their nuclear program.
